Politics…are there are really only 2 choices

I really pose this more as a question…

Do we have to settle for believing in the two-party system?

Independents and the “green” party may contest that this is the case…but isn’t it really? I mean there is no way that anyone but whom the Republicans and Democrats nominate will take the White House…

I personally find it challenging because I do have both Republican and Democratic political views…not that it matters but I believe in upholding Roe v Wade…primarily because of the impact “unattended children” that grow into adulthood. (Ref: What Happens to Kids that Nobody Wants)

So if I believe that…I have to vote Democratic, right?

But I also believe that government should be fairly hands off and that everyone is responsible for themselves…I do believe in taxes supporting those that can’t support themselves…and I already pay approx. 37% of my income to support that belief. But shouldn’t I be able to believe that the government should be able to manage 350 million peoples 37% better? Shouldnt that really be enough to accomplish what social programs the Democrats rally behind?
